Grading Categories:
Work is divided into 3 categories: Typing, Skill Building, and Projects.

- Typing is 20% of your grade and includes practice lessons, quizzes, games, and assessments. Students must meet weekly typing requirements.
- Skill Building is 30% of your grade and includes learning new software, developing skills and knowledge to be successful in creating required projects.
- Class Projects are 50% of your grade and includes completing the project and meeting all specific project requirements.
- All projects must be submitted in “Teams“ and then “Assignments" on time to receive credit.
- Projects submitted incomplete will be reduced in value to reflect grade earned.
- Projects not turned in will show as “M” meaning missing which is the same as an “F”
- Late projects will be accepted and reduced accordingly:
- 1 day late equals a 10% reduction.
- 2-3 days late equals a 20% reduction.
- 4-6 days late equals a 30% reduction.
- More than 6 days late equals 40% reduction.
- Missing typing assignments cannot be made up.
- When you are absent from my class you are still responsible for all work you missed.
- Any project that is due when you are absent will show missing (M) until it has been turned in 2 days after your absence. Student must notify me when the assignment is turned in.
- Typing is a daily requirement in my class and can be made up in the library during lunch or after school.
